LENA is the first technology to automatically capture and code the natural language environment. An up-and-coming technology, one constantly being upgraded and enhanced, its prospective uses are untold. Nevertheless, the following compilation of case studies documents some of our stories of success in the advancement of education and treating children who are deaf or hard of hearing. They inspire us to keep doing what we do; and we hope they inspire you—SLPs, researchers, pediatricians, parents—to consider additional innovative ways to use LENA to help make life better for others.
