LENA Developmental Snapshot Correlation with Other Standard Language Assessments

How’s the child progressing?

One of our most popular tools, the snapshot offers a fast, graphical way to track a child’s progress.

The LENA Developmental Snapshot™

As part of the LENA System, LENA Foundation developed the LENA Developmental Snapshot (LDS), a 52-question parent administered questionnaire regarding expressive and receptive language skills to provide an estimate of the child’s developmental age from 2 months to 36 months.

The LDS is highly correlated with recognized standardized assessments of language development (Pearson’s r= .93, p < .001).
